Transfer account ownership
There may be an occasion when you need to change the account ownership, such as if the designated owner leaves the company.
Note: only the current owner can change the account ownership to someone else
- Click on the Admin dropdown in the navigation bar and click Account settings
- Click Account management.
- Under Manage Account, using the Account owner dropdown select the person you'd like to transfer ownership to
- After you have selected who you'd like to transfer ownership to, click the Apply button underneath the dropdown
- A notice will pop up asking you to enter your password and that you will be logged out. To proceed, enter your password and click Confirm
- Once you have made this change, you will be sent an email confirmation of the transferred ownership. The new account owner will also receive an email confirming that they are now the new account owner.
- Both you and the new account owner will be logged out and will need to login again
- You will be set to the Admin role
