Understanding your subscription


Note: only owners, admins and finance can view or change the subscription settings

  • Select Admin from the top menu
  • From the dropdown menu select Billing
  • On the left you'll see your Subscription details

Under the Subscription details you will see:

  • Your subscription status
  • The number of users in your plan
  • The amount you are paying for your plan
  • When your first payment is due (if your account is Active, this will read Next payment due)
  • If applicable, you can enter in a discount code
  • Owners can also manage their account by selecting the Manage account button, which will take you to the Account management tab under Account settings. Here, you can transfer ownership and cancel your subscription.


Your subscription status:

Note: only owners can cancel or reactivate a subscription

Free trial status

  • A new account is automatically placed into the Free trial status. No payment is taken at this stage
  • A trial ending reminder will be sent to the billing information contact email address prior to the trial period ending
  • You can cancel your trial at any time with no obligation, and you can continue to use Viewteam to book desks until the end of your trial period

Active status

  • At the end of the trial period, your account will move into an Active status and payment will be taken (this date is the beginning of your billing period)
  • Subsequent payments will be taken each month at the beginning of your billing period until cancelled
  • Whilst payments continue successfully, your subscription will remain in the Active status

Past due status

  • Your subscription will be set to Past due if we receive a failed payment at the beginning of your billing period
  • We will reattempt to take payment up to three times as detailed within our Terms of Service. Successful payment at this stage will move your subscription back to Active status
  • If all payment retries fail, your subscription will move to Unpaid status

Unpaid status

  • If your subscription status is Unpaid, the ability to make bookings is blocked
  • Updating your payment method and a successful payment will move your subscription to Active
  • If no action is taken and the account subscription remains in the Unpaid status it will be terminated as per our Terms of Service.
