Understanding user status settings

Viewteam has four user statuses:

• Created
• Pending
• Expired
• Active

Status definitions

Created

• When users are first added to Viewteam they have the status of Created
• They have not been invited
• They are not able to login

Pending

• When a user is invited to Viewteam, but not yet accepted their invitation, they have a status of Pending
• They are not able to login
• Invitations are valid for 72 hours

Expired

• If a user's invitation expires before they accept it, they have the status of expired
• A new invitation will need to be sent to them
• They are not able to login

Active

• An active user has accepted their invitation
• They are able to login
• They can use the full functionality of Viewteam
