View and filter logs

Note: only the owner and admins can view logs

Events in Viewteam are logged within the Event log.


To view the Event log:

  • Select Admin from the top menu
  • From the dropdown menu select Event log

Logs are made up of:

  • Date and time: When the event occurred
  • Action: A brief description of what happened (e.g., space updated, user booking, user login)
  • Actioned by: The user that triggered the event
  • Attributed to: What or who the event affects
  • Status: Whether the event was successful or not

Filter logs

You can filter logs by date range, actions and actioned by.

To filter by date range:

  • Click on Choose date
  • You can then select a pre defined range, or select a custom range
  • Click Apply to filter by your selected date range

To filter by action and actioned by:

  • Click Filter
  • Select Actions or Actioned by
  • You can then select one or more items to filter by
  • Click Apply to apply the filters

  • To reset the filters, click Clear filters
