Add spaces
Note: only admins and owners can add spaces
- Click on the Admin dropdown in the navigation menu and click Locations and floor plans
- You will be taken to a list of locations and floor plans (see below)
- Click the edit icon in the action column of the floor plan you wish to add spaces to (see below)
- You will be presented with a screen similar to below.
- To add a bookable space, simply click anywhere on the floor plan, the spaces tab will become active in the sidebar and the space will be added (see below)
- The space will be created with the 'Active' status by default. If you'd like to update information about a space, click the edit icon. From here, you can update:
- Status:
- Active: This space is available to book.
- Inactive: This space is unavailable to book.
- Hidden: This space is unavailable to book and will not appear to users.
- Alias (optional): This will overwrite the name.
- Type: Choose from Desk, Room, or Other.
- Capacity: Specify the number of people the space can accommodate.
- Tags: Any resources the space has
- Assigned Users: Reserve this space for specific users.
- Status:
- When you're happy, click Save
- If you need to reposition the space, you can click and drag the space to where you'd like it
